The Intelect Mobile 2 device impresses with its intelligent and intuitive design and is particularly user-friendly. It has built-in recommendations for protocol settings that have been developed with current clinical practices in mind. You can also create and save your own protocols.

The large color touch screen has an intuitive user interface. For example, you receive recommendations on the placement of electrodes and real-time information on the progress of the individual treatment. You also have a high-resolution anatomical library at your disposal, which you can use to visually explain the indications and treatment pathway to patients.

The lightweight device with ergonomically shaped handle can also be used outside the home or in the home care sector thanks to the option of battery use.

"When we ventured into self-employment a year ago, we were looking for a modern device with which we could offer ultrasound therapy and electrotherapy. Our partner MEDiDOR recommended the Chattanooga brand combination device and made it available to us for testing. In practice, the device impressed us with its simple operation, the frequently reusable electrodes and the great display of the individual body parts. The positive feedback from our therapists, the ease of transportation and the regular treatment successes have prompted us to purchase another Chattanooga device as part of the expansion of our practice."

The non-invasive treatment method with extracorporeal shock waves supports the healing of long-term insertion and soft tissue pathologies. The treatment method helps to relieve pain, reduce increased muscle tone and promote tissue regeneration.

The latest generation of the clinical radial shock wave, the Intelect RPW 2 device, impresses with new functions and an ergonomic design developed in Switzerland. The preset protocols according to indications and a large color touchscreen make the device particularly easy and user-friendly to use.

The Intelect RPW 2 device also impresses with its new Falcon applicator. A V-Actor applicator is available as an option. This is suitable for vibration treatment and is the ideal addition to radial wave therapy.

Philipp Estermann, who has an Intelect RPW 2 device, tells us how it performs in practice. physiotherapy practice in Willisau in Willisau:

"We have been successfully using shock wave treatment with the Chattanooga Intelect RPW2 device in our physiotherapy practice at the Willisau Medical Center for 21 months.

On the one hand, shock wave therapy has an immediate pain-relieving effect. On the other hand, it improves microcirculation and stimulates cell healing.

We use this effective form of treatment very successfully in the conservative treatment of tendon attachment inflammation, such as Achilles tendon attachment complaints, tennis elbow and heel spurs. We also use the Intelect RPW2 to treat tendon calcifications in the shoulder and poorly healing bone fractures. In this way, some of our patients are able to avoid surgery.

Shock wave therapy is not covered by health insurance companies. Our patients are very happy to pay for this form of treatment privately because they are enthusiastic about the effect of shock wave therapy."
