Are essential oils suitable for application to the skin?

No—when used undiluted, pure essential oils can cause skin irritation. Always use them in a carrier oil (1–2% dilution) or in ready-made formulations.

Which diffuser is best suited for which oil?

Ultrasonic diffusers (cold) are ideal—no heating, so active ingredients are fully preserved. Heat diffusers can partially break down sensitive ingredients.
