Pilates BernANATOMY IN THREE DIMENSIONS™ EXPERIENCE AND UNDERSTAND ANATOMY 2-Day Seminar
Build your body from the inside out.
You may know where a muscle originates and inserts. But can you really visualize in three dimensions how it runs through the body, crosses a joint, and enables movement?
Anatomy in Three Dimensions™ invites you to experience anatomy with your own hands.
Using modeling clay and a specially designed skeleton, you'll build models of key muscles yourself. You'll discover their origins, insertions, and functions, and in the process, explore the relationships between bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia.
Our anatomical journey takes us from the knee to the head. Along the way, we explore many of the most important muscles and how they relate to one another—through the pelvis, spine, and rib cage, all the way to the shoulder complex, including the rotator cuff.
This hands-on concept, developed by Balanced Body in the U.S., transforms anatomy from something you study on the page into something you can see, build, and understand in three dimensions.
This seminar is designed for anyone who works with the human body—whether in movement, therapy, or health—and who wishes to deepen their understanding of anatomy and apply what they’ve learned more confidently in their practice.
You can look forward to two intensive days filled with hands-on anatomy, movement, and discoveries, in an intimate setting that offers plenty of space for , questions, shared exploration, and discussion.
Experience anatomy. Understand how it all fits together.
Includes a detailed course book in print.

Pilates BernDuring pregnancy and childbirth, the female body undergoes a continuous process of adaptation. The pelvic floor, tissues, and fascial structures respond to hormonal, mechanical, and emotional changes. A tailored prenatal exercise program can support both the body and mind during this time.
In this seminar, we’ll explore the physical, hormonal, and emotional changes and examine how the various systems involved interact. Breathing techniques and awareness play a central role—they can deepen body awareness and support the birthing process.
This is complemented by relaxation sequences as well as adapted Pilates and FAMO Fascia Movement exercises for each trimester. You’ll develop a versatile repertoire of movements with a wide variety of modifications for a well-rounded pregnancy workout.
Exercise can help women develop a greater sense of well-being, adaptability, and confidence in their own bodies, and support them as they prepare for childbirth.

Pilates BernRectus diastasis is more than just the gap between the rectus abdominis muscles. In this advanced seminar, we will examine the abdominal wall and the linea alba as part of a functional interplay between the pelvic floor, respiration and pressure regulation, the thoracolumbar fascia, and the entire body.
We will explore the functional anatomy and fascial connections around the trunk and pelvic floor in greater depth, and review the definition, current research, and methods for assessing rectus diastasis.
A special focus is placed on doming, load-bearing capacity, and force transmission: What can we observe? How can we interpret different responses of the abdominal wall? And how can we design and refine movement and exercise in such a way that the abdominal wall can develop greater functional connectivity, tone, and adaptability?
In our practice, we explore various movement and exercise strategies, focusing not only on the inter-rectus distance but also on the function of the abdominal wall in relation to the entire body.
You’ll gain concrete strategies for for supporting your clients and for for directly incorporating these insights into your teaching. This in-depth course combines up-to-date expertise with a Pilates-based, fascia-focused movement practice.

Pilates BernThe myofascial core is much more than just an anatomical region. It describes the functional center of the human body—an intelligent, whole-body myofascial network that connects the entire body from head to toe. This network unfolds through the interplay of breathing, movement, fascia, posture, and the nervous system, and is simultaneously shaped by our perceptions, our experiences, and the way we relate to ourselves and our environment.
Anatomy comes to life through movement. Together, we’ll explore the myofascial core, the pelvic floor, and how they work together in the body.
By the end of this day, you will understand the myofascial core not only anatomically, but also as a functional network of the entire body. You will develop a deeper understanding of how the body organizes itself as a whole and how movement can support inner alignment, vitality, and connection. You can apply this knowledge immediately in training, therapy, and teaching.
Fascia Pilates, FAMO Fascia Movement, functional anatomy, and the latest findings in kinesiology come together to form a holistic view of movement, the body, and what it means to be human.
This foundational module serves as the basis for for the Core Health Trainer program as well as the training programs for Pre- & Postnatal Trainers and Perimenopause & Menopause Trainers.
