Natural rubber
Natural rubber is a rubber product that is produced without petroleum. It is mainly obtained by scoring the bark of the rubber tree. The resulting plant milk, called latex, is collected and then acidified with acetic acid. Natural rubber is characterized by its high elasticity and resistance. It is water-repellent and is cultivated sustainably in mixed cultures.
