Heat therapy is a widely used procedure for the drug-free treatment of pain and non-inflammatory diseases. Heating to approx. 54 °C within seconds.

Indications

Treatment of chronic muscle or bone pain, pain relief, reduction of muscle tension such as back pain, menstrual pain, rheumatoid arthritis.

Contraindications

Acute inflammation, dermatitis, deep vein thrombosis, peripheral arterial occlusive disease, heart disease, impaired skin sensation and associated reduced sensitivity, diabetes, children under 3 years of age, persons sensitive to heat/cold, use by children only under adult supervision.
