Beurer BM58 blood pressure monitor
The BM 58 blood pressure and pulse monitor from Beurer is based on a non-invasive, oscillometric measuring principle and is used on the upper arm. The cuff is suitable for an upper arm circumference of 22 to 30 cm . The device recognizes application errors and reports them to the user. This effectively prevents incorrect measurements.
XXL touchscreen
The BM 58 is equipped with a particularly large touchscreen, which is used to operate all device functions. The inverse display shows white text on a black background, creating particularly high contrast for easy reading of the measured values.
Measured value memory and average calculation
The device stores the last 60 measurements so that you can easily track the development of your blood pressure over a longer period of time. The device also automatically calculates the average value.
Classification according to WHO guidelines
The systolic and diastolic blood pressure are shown simultaneously on the large, easy-to-read display after the measurement. The measurements are classified according to World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines and displayed graphically. This allows you to easily assess for yourself when a doctor's consultation is indicated.
Arrhythmia detection
During the measurement, this device detects any irregularities in the heart rhythm, which in most cases can only be detected by a doctor, such as a pulse that is too slow or too fast or skipped or premature heartbeats, and indicates this after the measurement if necessary. This provides you with a system that may detect a previously undetected cardiac arrhythmia.
Simply measure your blood pressure at home
With the blood pressure monitor, you can easily measure your blood pressure at home. This is particularly helpful if you suffer from high or low blood pressure and therefore need to check it regularly. However, there are a few points to bear in mind for taking the measurement to ensure you get correct results. For example, you should measure your blood pressure at rest and not move or talk during the measurement. This will give you reliable data on your blood pressure at home. Please note, however, that self-diagnosis and self-treatment based on the measurement results can be dangerous. If you get unexpected results, consult your doctor and be sure to follow their instructions.
Measurement on the upper arm
This blood pressure monitor measures the arterial pressure on the upper arm. This has the advantage that the measurement is automatically taken at heart level and is therefore less prone to errors. However, it is important that you expose your arm before applying the cuff.
Self-diagnosis and self-treatment based on the measurement results can be dangerous. In the event of unexpected results, consult your doctor and be sure to follow their instructions.
