Who needs the pulse oximetry measurement?

Pulse oximetry can be used by everyone from high-altitude athletes to chronically ill people in need of care. For healthy people, the application makes sense if the person is in an environment with a low oxygen content. This is particularly the case when spending time at high altitudes, for example during alpine sports, in high mountain areas and during air sports.
