The Active-K is a motorized physiotherapy device that offers a unique combination of rehabilitation therapies in a single device. By combining the benefits of CPM (Continuous Passive Motion), CAM (Controlled Active Motion) therapy and the protocols built into the device, the patient is able to regain coordination and reduce the loss of proprioception. By using the Active-K device, patients can regain pain-free mobility of the hip and knee joints at an early post-operative stage and promote the healing process. In addition, the active component of the therapy device is designed to improve proprioception and functional stability (strength) at an early stage, thereby promoting coordination following joint surgery.
