Cryo Cuff bandages
The bandages for use with the Cryo Cuff™ can are part of an innovative cold therapy system that is used specifically to reduce swelling and pain. Thanks to its ease of use, it is ideal for post-operative and post-traumatic treatment. The combination of targeted pressure and soothing cold supports the healing process and for greater comfort during the recovery phase.
Indications
The Aircast Cryo/Cuff Cuff combines focal compression with cold to minimize swelling and pain.
Contraindications
- Raynaud's disease or other vasoconstrictive (vasospastic) diseases
- Hypersensitivity to cold
- Reduced skin sensitivity
- localized reduced blood flow
- Diabetes
- Sickle cell anemia
- Arteriosclerosis
- Cryoglobulinemia
- Increased blood clotting tendency (hypercoagulable coagulation disorders) or other peripheral vascular diseases that cause a circulatory disorder (ischemia) or poor local blood flow
- local tissue infections
- Cold allergy
- Hypersensitivity to cold
- previous cold injuries or paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria.
The Cryo Cuff cold therapy system combines targeted cold and compression therapy. Pain and swelling are effectively reduced and alleviated. The Cryo Cuff bandages can only be used in conjunction with the Cyro Cuff thermal container.

Care instructions
After use, drain all the water from the cuff, the tube, and the cooling unit. (To drain the tube, lift it while simultaneously
(Press the tip of the quick-connect fitting.) Remove the lid from the cooling unit so that it can dry out during storage. Clean the sleeve, hose, and cooling unit regularly.
To do this, pour about 100 ml of liquid soap and hot water into the cooling unit. Let the soapy water run through the cooling unit and the sleeve several times, then repeat the process with clean, warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
