FAQs

Is the reformer supplied fully assembled?
The Allegro Nextgen Reformer is partially assembled. The assembly consists of footbar, springs, shoulder pads and risers. Click here to watch the Balanced Body Garage video about the unboxing and assembly of the reformer. You can find the assembly instructions in PDF format in the documents

How does the Allegro Nextgen Reformer differ from the Allegro Reformer?
Both the Allegro Nextgen and the Allegro are durable, reliable, easy to use and designed for smooth, gentle movement of the sled. Both are made of high-quality materials such as high-density foam padding and high-quality vinyl upholstery. In addition, their sturdy modular aluminum frame systems allow for custom configuration for a variety of Pilates exercises.

The Allegro Nextgen is a further development of the proven "workhorse" Allegro. It features a wide infinity footbar that can be adjusted along the length of the carriage, offering extended exercise and positioning options. It has improved features such as thicker, more stable risers and beveled sled edges for a better grip. Its sleek new frame and leg design makes it easier for instructors to work during class and fits perfectly into today's Pilates studios.

Can the feet be retrofitted at any time?
Yes, this is possible with the optional retrofit kit possible

Can the tower be added at any time?
Yes, the tower can be added to the Allegro Nextgen Reformer at any time. The Tower and Mat Retrofit Kit is easy to attach and can be removed and stowed away if required.

Can the Allegro Nextgen Reformer be stored vertically?
The Allegro Nextgen Reformer can be stored vertically if the footbar is correctly positioned and securely locked.
Vertical storage should be carried out very carefully by two people. Before vertical storage, make sure that the ceiling height is at least 237 cm To see a video about vertical storage, click here

What is the best way to clean the reformer?
Clean the upholstery and the footbar cover with Balanced Body Clean or a mild soap and warm water. Avoid using alcohol, bleach or chemical cleaning agents as these can damage the upholstery.
Wash the loops in cold water and allow them to air dry regularly.
Dust and clean the rails, wheels and springs regularly.


Manufacturer's warranty (Limited warranties)

• Lifetime guarantee on the Standard* Reformer frame and the footbar.
  (A standard frame is defined as a frame that has not been modified or altered by Balanced Body from the original specifications).
• 2 years on all moving moving parts of the reformer from the date of invoice.
• Balanced Body Signature Springs™ also have a limited warranty of 2 years from the invoice date or after 3,000 operating hours (whichever comes first)

Exclusion:
Normal wear and tear; damage caused by failure to follow instructions, abuse, misuse, modification or unauthorized repair; scratches in finish or tears or dents in upholstery or foam.
